  1. Josh Said,

Nice podcast. I listened to it today at work and enjoyed the chapter analysis. The audio books pronounce Maester as May-ster just FYI ;) Also on another note there is another ice and fire podcast that’s been out for a few months. It’s well done too. Anyway keep up the good work!! These podcasts quench our ice and fire thirsts until the next book!

  2. benton Said,

  4. Dischord Said,

Hey guys. I’ve listened to episodes 1 and 2 and I liked the podcast. 3M and Brad do a good job discussing the chapters for the most part, though Brad comes across a bit quiet. The only thing I’d suggest is to get your facts dead straight before you go online with them. There were a couple of things that were nitpicks, but will be noted. The fandom is picky. Examples are like the bit about The Hedge Knight and Sworn Sword being set 150 or 200 years before the series. Maester Aemon himself appears as a young man in The Hedge Knight, and he’s 103 years old by book 4. (He mentions Egg and Duncan the Tall during the voyage south.) Also there was a bit in episode one about victims of the Others becoming Others themselves, which is not true. The fallen just rise as sort of ice zombies they call wights.

Anyway, I look forward to future episodes.
