Hey guys,
I know you’re craving more IAFP, but fear not it is coming. I had the opportunity to pop off to the Gen Con Game Fair to get you guys some killer content. I’ll be getting that out to you ASAP.

good to hear it mike, i keep promising myself to call or email ya…but life just keeps happening. i’m about done with the first book and thinking i’ll just review chapters at “The Kings Hand” in order to catch up by the time The Dance starts. looking forward to hearing your report on Gen Con and the next chapter of course.

p.s. i know i dropped a few podcast tags on my last comment and there really isn’t one that had “slaves” for it’s listeners…it was just my way of saying i love podcast and have been entertained, bewitched & mesmerized by many of the best out there…so have at it and keep up the great work.
p.s.s. and yes it would be great if you could have a cohost to join you…hope that happens, but i’ll hang with you none the less.
Saw you there with the Green Ronin guys! Glad happenstance did what it did so I found out about you. Can’t wait to get caught up on the episodes I missed.
I got all caught up and must say you do a much better job than the other ASOIAF podcast. You definitely know your stuff and have a host of interesting and insightful things to say. you also have proven to be willing to listen to comments and criticism, even nitpicky criticism which says a lot about your character. Most of the nitpicky things I picked out have been addressed except to let you know that the House of Bear Island is -Mormont- and not -Mornmont- as you had been saying. As for the constructive comments, I think you should broaden the scope to bring in observations from the later books as most of your listeners are likely to be series fans who have already read all the books. Bringing in later info will make the early stuff more relevant and understandable, plus it will save you having to refer back to earlier chapters as the story progresses. Any way you do it, however, I’m hooked. Until 2017 or whatever year it was that one commenter had calculated.
well said DAVE…i like how this podcast doesn’t get too side tracked on silly things like the other ASOIAF podcast. yes they have fun, but the delivery and banter can get quite base at times and not that my ear is offended but it really isn’t what i tuned in to hear discussed.
patiently waiting for the next cast–i’ve finished the first book and am on to the 2nd (this is my 2nd reading of the series). paying a bit more attention this time…hope you have a safe holiday.
Are you coming back?
Can’t wait for the next episode, and glad to hear you are still out there.
Hi Michael!
Just to say that yes, we are all waiting for more asoiaf commentaries and chapter analysis. Keep up the good work and please don’t give up! =)
Cheers from Japan,
Really enjoy this podcast as well as the other asoiaf podcast. This one is more serious, which I like but I enjoy any discussion of these books as I don’t have anyone close who reads them. Hope to hear another one of these podcasts soon.
So are you pretty much done?
I think so but at least the other podcast has started a chapter recap.
This PodCast started with such such marvelous intent. Sadly, like so many other great PodCast ideas, this one seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird. I still hear spots for it from time to time on the Slice, but after two months of no casts, I fear the worst.
Thanks for the effort guys. Time to move on.
Woo, can’t wait!
It looks like I came across this podcast a little too late. It’s December ‘08 and the last episode was in August. Oh no!
That’s a shame because it has great content & wonderful audio quality. I love these books & am addicted to podcasts about any books I enjoy. This one is/was particularly good. It helps me enjoy the stories more & appreciate other people’s views on them.
Good luck Michael! I hope you bring us more episodes! Much love to you, sir.
well said james…thanks guys for trying. 12/5/08
Ughh… I just found this and only has four episodes? Hopefully they come back some day.
